Sci-Fun is a program which is emphasized with the use of throw-away materials to prepare small toys which help in explaining science concepts in a simple manner.
The whole idea of sci-toys and the sci-fun program is inspired by Mr.Arvind Gupta's ideas, organised by associate professor and vice-principle of G.V.M's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education , Dr.Anna Neena George.
The sci-toys are cost efficient and can be easily made by the students.
I participated in the Sci-Fun program in three schools ,i.e. MIBK High School Kandepar Ponda,Pragati High School ,Borim, Government Sadar High School, Ponda and Dr.Sakharam Gude High School,Shiroda, Goa.
MIBK High School Kandepar Ponda
At this I was given the responsibility as time keeper and photograghy of common demonstration. My work is to alert the trainee teacher about the time so that they will complete their explaination of the concept within the time limit.
Pragati Vidyalaya High School Borim Ponda
At this school my job is to take feedback from the students, science teachers and Headmaster of the school.
Dr.Sakharam Gudi High School Shiroda Goa
I went to the classrooms with my sci-toy- climbing brush which is a physics concept.
The basic principle of the climbing Brush :- This works on the principle of Newton'sThird Law of Motion.When we tap the pipe from top the air from outside goes inside the pipe and te brush climbs up.

My Experience
Sci Fun programme helped me a number of ways. Firstly it taught me time management, improved my interaction with the students, made me confident, helped me overcome my fear.
